UCF-16.3 Universal Modem chassis

3U card rack for DLM-336R, LLM-336R, LLM-336R.Eth and DSL-4608R modem card sets

The UCF-16.3 is a 3U, 19" chassis for those products that are also available in the rugged desktop housing (like e.g. the LLM-336S). These products consist of a eurocard size (100x160 mm) modem card and a 100x70 mm interface card. The modem and interface cards interconnect inside the chassis. The UCF-16.3 therefore has no back plane: all connections, including the power, are made externally.

 The UCF-16.3 card frame allows for flexible housing of a mix of various MuLogic products, without a PSU or with a single or dual PSU.

The modem and interface cards interconnect inside the chassis. The UCF-16.3 therefore has no
back plane: all connections, including the power, are made externally.

The screw terminal sockets (2 per panel), allow for a very flexible power supply arrangement,
such as "daisy chaining", feeding from different sources, looping etc. .

Power Supply

All MuLogic rack cards can be powered directly from 9..36Vdc (10..28Vac) or 18..72Vdc sources.
If these voltages are not available, mains power supplies can be mounted inside the rack, in an  additional UCF-16.3 rack or standalone (e.g. DIN-rail mounted PSUs or AC transformers)
