Ethernet bridging over Public and Private IP networks, radio links or copper wire lines.
MuLogic offers modems and routers for extending industrial Ethernet (Layer 2) over:
- Analogue leased lines.
Dry (unconditioned) copper cable. - Voice channels of radio links.
- ADSL/VDSL2 Internet infrastructure.
- Mobile data networks.
- POTS/Dial up networks (on request).
Voiceband modems
Voiceband modems like the LLM-336D.Eth , LLM-336S.Eth and the LLM-336R.Eth can be used on conditioned leased lines (analogue leased lines) and other voice grade links like PCM channels and voiceband channels of microwave links.
The distance between two voiceband modems is virtually without limits as long as the attenuation and noise on the voice channel remains acceptable. The LLM-336.Eth modems can also be used on unconditioned copper or other metallic wires, and even on voice channels of radio systems.
ADSL/VDSL2 routers
A pair of MuLogic xDSL modem-routers can be used for transparant Layer2 Ethernet bridging using public ADSL or VDSL2 connections.
The Ethernet link is transported over an encrypted VPN path. MuLogic xDSL modem-routers can also be used in combination with MuLogic Cellular wireless WAN modems to create a transparent Ethernet bridge.
Cellular Wireless WAN routers
A pair of MuLogic cellular wireless WAN routers can be used for transparant Layer2 Ethernet bridging over mobile networks. The Ethernet link is transported over an encrypted VPN path. MuLogic Cellular wireless WAN routers can also be used in combination with MuLogic xDSL routers to create a transparent Ethernet bridge.
